Imus settles with CBS, may make comeback
NEW YORK (AP) Don Imus has reached a settlement with CBS over his multimillion-dollar contract and is negotiating to resume his broadcasting career. Imus and CBS Radio "have mutually agreed to settle claims that each had against the other regarding the Imus radio program on CBS," the network and Imus' attorney Martin Garbus said in a joint statement Tuesday.

`Today' to add fourth hour next month
NEW YORK (AP) NBC's "Today" show will expand to a fourth hour starting Sept. 10. The announcement Tuesday nails down a start date for the program's expansion, which was announced months ago. The new hour will be co-hosted by "Today" news anchor Ann Curry, national correspondent Natalie Morales and correspondent Hoda Kotb.

YouTube wants to question Jon Stewart
NEW YORK (AP) YouTube wants to question comedians Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert as part of its defense against claims that it illegally airs Internet snippets of sports and entertainment videos. The request, which surfaced Tuesday in court documents, was made last week to the judge presiding over lawsuits brought against YouTube by Viacom International Inc., England's top soccer league - The Football Association Premier League Ltd. - and indie music publisher Bourne Co.

CNN-YouTube GOP debate set for Nov. 28
WASHINGTON (AP) The on-again, off-again Republican version of the CNN/YouTube debate will be held Nov. 28. The two-hour debate will be held in St. Petersburg, Fla., the cable network announced Monday. Online users were urged to submit their questions.

Parker says snake in promo photo is real
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) Posing naked for a publicity photo for her offbeat Showtime comedy series "Weeds" was no big deal for Mary-Louise Parker. It was the snake that bothered her. "I didn't think I was going to do it actually," the 43-year-old actress told AP Radio News in a recent interview. "But then, they were there and the snake was there, and I didn't want the snake to win, so I put the snake on.
